“Fraser has done an exceptional job building and refining Foxtel Arts since its launch last year, to become a channel like no other and we’re incredibly proud. His energy, imagination and commercial approach will build on the incredible talents of the Arts and Music team to provide a complete music and live performance offering for our subscribers,” said Brian Walsh, executive director of television, Foxtel.

Stark added: “I am incredibly excited about this new opportunity and there is great synergy between the Arts and Music brands. I look forward to leading the strong and passionate music team to continue providing these great channels for Foxtel’s viewers.”

The new team structure will come into effect on 29 August. Rebecca Batties, who has been heading the pay-TV operator’s Music portfolio for the past two years, will now leave Foxtel.

“We would like to acknowledge Rebecca’s terrific contribution and wish her well with her next endeavour,” said Walsh.
